Advantages of Sri Lankan coconut peat compared with traditional coconut peat:
1. No nematodes: After high temperature and high pressure disinfection treatment, and inspection and quarantine, it does not contain nematodes, so it can be used directly.
2. Good air permeability: the air pores at the maximum water holding capacity reach 27.37%, which is suitable for all kinds of plants that need good air permeability.
3. No impurities: the utilization rate can reach 100%, while the traditional coconut bran contains more impurities, the utilization rate is only 70-80%.
4. Low chlorine content: due to storage in the open for 1-2 years, after rainwater, the free CI- content is much less than that of coconut chaff.
